Neymett is one of my series of African figure paintings . Each figure tells different story . Neymett is a little girl who finds  herself facing an enormous ordeal alone . Her father died in war . Her mother has aids , and her little sister still needs care . Can she cope ?

Fish and chilly is my oldest and most favorable painting  I have ever painted . I remember how smelly our kitchen was  !. I built  it in thin layers . Every layer dried completely before I put the next layer.  My aim is to achieve the glitter of scales . Please do not hesitate to comment .
